Katrani Studios in Symi

Each studio is a restored stone building with exposed stonework and wooden beams. The ground-floor apartment has a kitchenette, a sofa bed, and a seating area with outdoor furniture on the terrace. The upstairs studio offers a mezzanine bedroom with a large bed and a wetroom-style bathroom with a spacious, powerful shower.

Hosts Anna and Nikitas pick up guests at the Symi ferry port and return them at departure. On arrival, guests receive a welcome pack with homemade cake, local wine, cold drinks, fruit, and bottled water. The hosts also provide a basket of snacks, homemade apricot jam, and Symi pastries during the stay.

Katrani Studios sits in Chorio, the quiet upper village of Ano Symi, within a 2-minute walk of a bakery and a small supermarket. Three restaurants and two bars are located a 5-minute walk away at the top of the Kali Strata steps. The property is a 15-minute downhill walk to Symi Port; a bus from the port stop at the windmills can carry guests back uphill.

The apartments are air-conditioned and have a gas hob, a refrigerator, a toaster, and a coffee machine with pods. Each unit offers a private bathroom with free toiletries and a high-pressure, high-temperature shower. Fly-screened windows and thick stone walls keep the interior cool without constant air-conditioning use.
